Union Home Secretary RK Singh said the killing of Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, the founder of the erstwhile outlawed Ranveer Sena, is a case of concern and the Bihar Government was capable of dealing with it.
Talking to reporters in Patna, Mr. Singh ruled out any intervention by the Centre in the matter. He said the Centre was keeping a close eye on the situation following violent protest after the killing.

Cremation of Mukhiya will take place today in Patna on the banks of the river Ganga today. AIR Patna correspondent reports the situation in Ara is under control and curfew has been lifted.
The State Government has constituted a special police investigation team to inquire into the killing of Mukhia. Chief minister Nitish Kumar has appealed to maintain peace and communal harmony
