The Centre is in touch with Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Cauvery Water dispute between the two states. Union Water Resources Minister Harish Rawat on Sunday said that he has asked for a detailed report on the recently held meeting between Karnataka Chief Minister and his Tamil Nadu counterpart J Jayalalithaa over the issue.
Mr. Rawat hoped that the dispute between the two states will be resolved soon.
