<span style="color: #222222;">The Centre is implementing various welfare schemes for tribal and their development across the country. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Ms Renuka Singh Saruta said around one lakh twenty thousand crore rupees has been allocated in the budget for 2023-24 as Scheduled Tribe Component Fund. NITI Aayog has identified aspirational district which having significant tribal populations.<br />''<br />''She said government is implementing a scheme Pradhan Mantri Aadi Adarsh Gram Yojana, PMAAGY, which aims at transforming 36 thousand 428 villages having 50 percent tribal population and 500 Scheduled Tribes into Adarsh Villages. These villages included in the Aspirational District identified by NITI Aayog. Out of total Aspirational Districts, 86 Districts are common wherein 10 thousand 509 villages are covered in PMAAGY.</span><br />
