Ahead of all party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi tomorrow, the centre today expressed the hope to build consensus on steps to resolve the problems facing the state . Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Defence Minister A.K Antony said that important decisions have to be taken after carefully assessing all aspects. He said, final call on the issues involved should be taken only after taking into confidence all the major parties. Senior BJP leader L.K Advani meanwhile has cautioned the government against reversing the position with regard to autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir . He also warned against bowing to the designs of secessionists. He was speaking at a party workshop in New Delhi today. The Cabinet Committee on security which met in New Delhi last night had reiterated the government's intention to restart dialogue process with all sections of people in Jammu and Kashmir. The CCS said that dialogue can embrace all the issues that agitate the mind of the people in the state especially the youth. The government also hoped that it would be able to engage the people of the state and take certain initiatives and measures that will build confidence among the people of Jammu and Kashmir after the meeting.
