Centre has taken several steps for the welfare of the workers, says Venkaiah Naidu

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said that the government has taken several steps for the welfare of workers. He describe the today's nationwide strike called by trade unions as highly illogical. Mr. Naidu was talking to mediapersons in Chennai on the sidelines of unveiling the CD on the nationwide Tiranga Yatra at the Regional Editors Conference. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu said the trade unions need to change their attitude. He said most of the demands of trade unions have been met. Mr. Naidu said, minimum wage has been raised from 246 rupees to 350 rupees minimum pension from 300 rupees 1000 rupees salary ceiling of central government employees for bonus hiked.
