<span style="color: #222222;">Minister for Fisheries, Dairy and Animal Husbandry Giriraj Singh has said that the Centre has given special emphasis on the fisheries sector. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Briefing media in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said that the Blue revolution brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has moved towards as a economic revolution. He said, in Blue revolution Government is focussing on employment, production and export. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, from 1947 to 2014, no government gave emphasis to the Sector and during the years the central allocation was only 3 thousand 6 hundred 82 crore rupees. He added that the current government is giving special focus to the fisheries sector.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Singh informed that from 2010 to 2014 the growth in the fisheries sector was 4 to 5 per cent, but now it has been doubled and annual growth reached 10.8 per cent. He said, India is the 2nd largest exporter of Fisheries in the world. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He informed that average annual growth rate of fish production is 7.53 per cent. On the occasion, Mr Singh along with Ministers of State Sanjeev Balyan and Pratap Chandra Sarangi released a booklet on Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).</span><br />'' &nbsp;
