The Central Government has accorded its approval for change in the name of Gurgaon to Gurugram. <br/><br/>This was stated by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal while interacting with media persons at Panchkula, near Chandigarh today. <br/><br/>He said that now both the city as well as the District of Gurgaon would be known as Gurugram.
