The Central Government has approved country's first Metrino Pod project for Gurgaon. Giving this information at Chandigarh Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that the state government would not have to pay anything for the project.<br/><br/>The Minister, who was replying to questions of media persons in Gurgaon today said that the National Highway Authority of India has also submitted the feasibility report for this Metrino Pod taxi project. The fare of Metrino Pod taxi would be similar to that of the Metro.<br/><br/>The Union Minister for Surface Transport and Highways, Mr Nitin Gadkari has said that work on this project would start by June 1, this year, added Rao Narbir Singh.
