Centre has formed Empowered Group of State Transport Ministers to suggest measures to boost the transport sector and improving the public transport system across the country. <br/><br/>Addressing the 16th Meeting of National Road Safety Council, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said, Rajasthan Transport Minister Yunus Khan will chair the group and also suggest measures to minimise road accidents in the country. <br/><br/>Mr Gadkari said, the Ministry has identified 1200 spots where Highway villages will be constructed. He said, in these village there will be petrol pump, food stall, Halipad, handloom and Handicraft stall.
