The Centre says it is focusing on improving ease of doing business for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to increase exports from the country. Speaking at a award function in New Delhi yesterday, MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra said, the focus of the government is on ease of doing business so that entrepreneurs, particularly in the MSME sector, are facilitated in their efforts to increase exports. He said, the ministry has recently simplified the process of registration process for the sector by creating an online Udyog Aadhar Portal. Mr Mishra said, online filing on this portal can be done in just three minutes to get registration without spending any money. The Minister informed that more than one lakh 60 thousand registrations have taken place within two months of launch of the portal.
