President Ram Nath Kovind today said the Government is focusing on higher credit support, capital and interest subsidy, and innovation in the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises sector. He was addressing the inaugural session of Udyam Sangam on the occasion of United Nations MSME Day in New Delhi. <br />''<br />''Mr Kovind added that the New Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has provided special status to MSMEs. He further stated that delinquency norms to categorise Non Performing Assets have been increased for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. <br />''<br />''Mr Kovind launched Mission Solar Charkha, a flagship program of the government for employment generation in rural India on the occasion. He also launched the MSME Sampark portal.
