The Centre has extended its peace accord with the Assam based militant group, Dima Halam Daogah (DHD), for another six months. It will be in force till 31st of December. According to Ministry of Home Affairs release, the decision to this effect was taken as the tripartite talks on the demands of DHD are continuing in positive direction.
