The Centre has dismissed media reports about the presence of Dawood Ibrahim during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Lahore as baseless. In a clarification issued last night, Information and Broadcasting Ministry rubbished the statement which appeared in a section of Press as unfounded and totally false. <br/><br/>SP leader and Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khan had claimed that Mr. Modi met underworld don Dawood in Lahore at the residence of Sharif during his Christmas Day visit. The Prime Minister on way back from Kabul had made an unscheduled stop over in Lahore on 25th of December last year to greet Mr. Sharif on his birthday.
