Centre has directed Ministries and Departments to make all payments of above five thousand rupees to suppliers, contractors and others through e-payment with immediate effect.<br/><br/>Earlier, the ceiling through e- payment was ten thousand rupees and above. Finance Ministry has reviewed the exiting limit and revised it to attain the goal of complete digitization of Government payments.Centre directs Ministries & Depts to make payments through e-payments.
