<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu & Kashmir seems to be firmly on path to total transformation if the Central government's plans are any indication. The Centre is fully determined propelling growth in the Union territory through Power Projects. A new beginning seems to have been made to replace wooden poles and barbed wire conductors by investing over 90 crore rupees, the approval for which has already been given by the Power Ministry at centre.<br />'' <br />'' Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electric Corporation (REC) have infused 4,580 crore rupees under the AtmaNirbhar Bharat announced by Prime Minister Modi.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that this will help Discoms overcome their financial difficulties and improve consumer Services at the ground level.<br />'' <br />'' Only a fortnight back, J&K UT Lt Governor  Sh. Yet another project in Chenab valley, Kiru hydroelectric power with 624 MW capacity also seems to be in an advanced stage of implementation. </span><br />
