The Centre has declared second and fourth Saturdays of a month as holidays for the bank employees. The government accepted the long-pending demand of employees, with effect from first of September. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters, in New Delhi, All India Bank Employees' Association AIBEA General Secretary C H Venkatachalam said this will be a big relief to employees and improve the productivity of employees. He also informed that in case of a month having five Saturdays, banks will be closed only on second and fourth Saturdays.
