Government has decided to set up three working groups of Chief Ministers to deal with agriculture production. <br/><br/>The Agriculture and Food Minister Sharad Pawar told reporters after the first meeting of Core Group of Chief Ministrers in New Delhi a shortwile ago that the working groups will also look into the issue of effectively dealing with the hoarding and blackmarketing and suggest ways and means to plug the loop holes in the Public Distribution System<br/><br/>The meeting is believed to have discussed proposed food security Bill. The core committee comprising of Chief Ministers of 10 states and senior central ministers was set up in February this year to monitor the price situation and suggest corrective measures .<br/><br/>AIR correspondent quoting official sources reports that the Government had prepared a background paper on measures to check prices of essential items ahead of the meeting .<br/><br/>The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh yesterday, while reacting to the Jail Bharo Andolan by the Left parties on price rise said, that this problem cannot be solved by agitational tactics . The government has taken a series of measures to address the growing food inflation and it is expected to ease with the prospects of a good rabi season.<br/>
