<span style="color: #222222;">Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has said that the Centre is continuously supporting States and Union Territories in ramping up treatment Infrastructure through all possible resources. The Minister today visited the Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre at Chhatarpur, New Delhi. The Minister oversaw the restarting of the COVID Care Centre and addition of 500 oxygenated beds. He said, the present facility will heavily ease the burden on Delhi's existing health infrastructure to deal with the unprecendented surge of daily new COVID-19 cases. He was informed that the capacity will be augmented to one thousand in another week and thereafter swiftly to accommodate two thousand beds. The Chhatarpur Centre is being adequately equipped with medical facilities which include ten Dedicated Basic Care Life Support Ambulances, X-Ray, Oxygen Cylinders and Pulse Oxymeters along with other medical equipment.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre has been developed at Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Chhatarpur, as part of coordinated efforts of the Centre through DRDO and ITBP to augment the COVID clinical treatment infrastructure in New Delhi. ITBP has already dispatched a team of 40 well qualified medical doctors who will be joined by a team of 120 expert paramedics. The Facility is expected to start by tomorrow.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
