Centre continues to provide medical assistance free of cost to States, UTs

<span style="color: #222222;">The Central Government is continuously providing medical assistance to the States and Union Territories to effectively deal with the Covid-19 situation. These medical supplies have been provided free of cost by the Centre to supplement the efforts of States and Union Territories.<br />''<br />''The Health and Family Welfare Ministry said that a total of 11 thousand 300 indigenous ventilators have been dispatched to various States, Union Territories and Central Institutions. Out of these, six thousand 154 ventilators have already been delivered to various hospitals. Centre has also provided more than two crore N95 masks and one crore 18 lakh PPE kits free of cost to the States and Union Territories in the last three months. In addition, more than 6.12 crore Hydroxychloroquine tablets have also been distributed.<br />''<br />''The Health and Family Welfare Ministry is also supplying more than one lakh oxygen cylinders. Out of which, 72 thousand 293 have already been delivered to strengthen oxygen beds in the States and Union Territories. The Ministry said that 7.81 lakh PPEs and 12.76 lakh N95 masks have been supplied in Delhi so far. In addition, 11.78 lakh PPEs and 20.64 N95 masks have been supplied in Maharashtra.</span><br />
