Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Anil Madhav Dave has said today at Imphal that the Centre is committed to preserve small, medium and large water bodies throughout the country. <br/><br/>Mr. Dave who had arrived the state capital Imphal this afternoon on a two-day official visit met the senior officials of state Forest and Environment Department at its Directorate at Imphal with state Forest and Environment Minister I. <br/><br/>Hemochandra. After the meeting, he told mediapersons that he is coming to Imphal as part of the Centre's review of programmes taken up by the Government in connection with forest and environment. <br/><br/>He further said that he is going to Loktak Lake in Bishnupur District of the state tomorrow to review the development activities taken up to preserve the lake.
