Union Consumer Affairs, Civil Supplies and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has said, Centre is committed to make ample supply of food grains to every state under food security act.<br/><br/>Talking about achievements of two years of NDA government, Mr Paswan said, since independence it is the only government which has done unprecedented welfare measures for common person.<br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Lucknow today, he said, if any state wants to get its food grain supply even for six months in a single go, it can have from Centre.<br/><br/>He said, food security act is already in place in 33 States and union territories and only Nagaland, Kerala and Tamilnadu are yet to join it, which will shortly become part of it. He said, the government has linked 56 per cent of ration cards with Adhar cards which resulted in the detection of over one crore sixty two lakh bogus ration cards.<br/><br/>He said, the move has saved around one thousand crore Rupees which was being given as subsidy.<br/><br/>Talking about the upliftment of SC and ST under NDA government, Mr Paswan said, now every bank branch has been instructed to grant loan upto five crores to make them entrepreneurs.
