In his address Minister of State for peronnel , V. Narayanasamy said centre is committed to full functional autonomy of the institutions like CBI to deliver results. He said UPA government will continue to support all efforts of the CBI to maintain the highest levels of personal conduct to ensure speedy and timely completion of investigations.

Mr. Narayanasamy asked the CBI to review, upgrade and strenghten its investigative capabilities to pursue its anti corruption agenda in an economically globalised world. He said, India being a member of G20, is part of the Anti corruption action plan and the working group set up on the subject.
