Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the Centre is committed to extend all
possible help to the people and new government of Andhra Pradesh.

In a tweet, Mr. Modi greeted Chandrababu Naidu, who was sworn in as state Chief Minister this evening. He said, Mr. Naidu's administrative experience and commitment to development will be a great asset in taking Andhra Pradesh to newer heights.

Chandra Babu Naidu took over as the first Chief Minister of residuary state of Andhra Pradesh.

Several BJP leaders, Central Ministers and Chief Ministers attended the swearing-in ceremony.
