Centre committed to create sustainable Yoga atmosphere in country beyond 21 June: Ayush Minister Shripad naik

Ayush Minister Shripad Naik today said, his ministry is committed to create a sustainable yoga atmosphere in the country beyond 21 June this year. Briefing media in New Delhi he expressed confidence that this year's event will mark more success than the last two years. He requested people of the whole country to participate actively in the event.<br/><br/>The Minister said AYUSH Ministry has declared 33 international and 50 national awards for the contribution towards yoga. He said, the main event will be held in Lucknow, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to attend the celebration.<br/><br/>Along with PM, senior ministers of government, Chief Minister of UP, Yoga Gurus are expected to take part in this event. Nearly 51,000 people are expected to demonstrate common yoga protocol along with the dignitaries in Lucknow.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that massive preparations are going on throughout the country for the third IDY – 2017.<br/><br/>Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), has taken up the project for organizing month long free yoga camps in all districts of the country from 21st of this month.
