Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government has taken significant steps to check corruption and menace of black money in a short span of time. Addressing Global Focal Point Conference on Asset Recovery in New Delhi this morning, Mr Modi said the Government is unsparing when it comes to punishing the corrupt.<br/><br/>Mr Modi said, the Centre is committed to implementing a uniform global standard on automatic exchange of information on a fully reciprocal basis to check black money. He said, the mission of his government is to build a prosperous India and it is essential to fight relentlessly against corruption to achieve this objective.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, auction of Coal Blocks and FM Radio Licences have eliminated the element of discretion in allocation of resources. He said, governments across the world should work to transform the lives of the poor and the marginalised.<br/><br/>Addressing the meet, Interpol Secretary General J'rgen Stock condemned the dastardly Paris attack. Mr Stock said all member countries of Interpol should come together to fight the menace of terrorism. Earlier, Prime Minister presented police medals to meritorious officers.
