The Centre is holding a high level meeting with all states to review the preparedness and measures in tackling the vector borne diseases including dengue, malaria and Japanese Encephalitis. Union Health Minister J P Nadda is interacting with State Health Ministers through video conferencing in New Delhi.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that there are risk of spread of dengue and other vector borne diseases during monsoon season. Health Ministry had also held meetings earlier to put in place effective measures to tackle the cases of dengue. People have been advised not to allow water logging in their residential areas to check breeding of mosquitoes causing dengue, malaria and other diseases.<br/><br/>According to an MCD official 39 cases of dengue have been reported in Delhi and NCR during the last six months as against 23 last year.
