The Centre will absolutely involve the people of Ladakh in any talks that would take place to decide the future of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>Interacting with a delegation of Congress leaders from Leh and Zanskar areas of Ladakh led by former Union Minister P Namgyal and Leh District Congress Committee President Rigzin Spalbar today in New Delhi, the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said that, he will make a visit to Ladakh soon to listen to the grievances of the people of Ladakh to solve the issue.<br/><br/>In a memorandum submitted to the Union Home Minister, the delegation reiterated and strongly advocated the grant of Union Territory status with legislature to Ladakh region. <br/><br/>The General Secretary and the Media in-charge of the Leh District Congress Committee Tsewang Rigzin said in a press release that the delegation has submitted a memorandum to Union Home Minster citing reasons for granting UT status for Ladakh. <br/><br/>He said that the Congress delegation has opposed strongly the report of Justice Sagheer Ahmed led working group on centre-state relations for ignoring the interests of the people of Ladakh especially rejecting the public demand of the Ladakhi people for granting Union Territory Status for Ladakh.<br/>
