The Centre has assured Bihar government to provide all possible help to counter Naxal activities in the state.The Union Home Secretary Rajkumar Singh said this while reviewing the anti-naxal operation at CRPF base camp at Barwadih in Gaya district of the state.State Home secretary, Director General of Police of the state and other top police and administrative officials are attending the meet.During the meeting with sector commanders of the CRPF, Mr. Singh took first hand information about ongoing combing operation against the Naxals.Fighting commanders of Naxal-affected areas also briefed the Union Home secretary about the steps being taken to combat Naxals’ activities in the state.Later in the day, the Union Home Secretary is to review the anti-Naxal operation status at a meeting with senior police and administrative officials in Patna.The security forces have not yet gathered any clue about 15 employees of a private construction company who were kidnapped by Maoists in Jamui district on Monday night.AIR Patna Correspondent reports that over one thousand jawans of STF, BSF, CRPF and district police have been pressed into service to rescue the abducted employees. Jawans of Jharkhand Police have also been engaged in search operation.
