Union Social justice minister Ramdas Athawle on Saturday assured state government to push up the demand of linking scholarship for backward students with inflation so that it could be raised regularly. <br/><br/>Mr Athwale on Saturday reviewed various issues and pending demands related to his ministry during the meeting chaired by him at Mantralay in Mumbai. <br/><br/>He also said that he would try to raise the amount of scholarship. He further said that, Union government has amended Atrocities act but it has been noticed that the implantation of stringent law lacks in the state. He assured to discuss the matter with state government. <br/><br/>The meeting was attended by Rajkumar Badole, Minister for Social Justice and other concerned officials.
