Centre has requested all States and Union Territories to hold consultations within their States and provide their tentative comments on the National Education Policy document by 31st of this month.<br />'' <br />'' Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said this while chairing the national workshop on 5- year vision document and national education policy in New Delhi yesterday. He said, education is the foundation for making a new India which is competent, empowered and prosperous.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Pokhriyal said, States and Union Territories run most of the schools and their involvement in the process of finalising the Vision document is very crucial.<br />''  <br />
