The centre has asked the states to keep a vigil on the smuggling of fertilisers, if any, from the country to other neighbouring countries through land and sea routes. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, chemicals and fertilisers Minister of State, Srikant Jena said the state governments however have not confirmed the reports in this regard. He said the Home ministry has also alerted border guarding forces to maintain strict vigilance.<br/>
