Centre approves roadways related projects of Jharkhand

The Center has approved more than six roadways related projects of Jharkhand, which includes a 3.4 km long flyover in its capital town Ranchi. The flyover will be from busy Piska More to Kachahari Chowk. Other important projects from the list include four-lane Bridge over river Ganga at Sahebganj and four-lane Ranchi-Tata highways. The approval was formally given by the Union Surface Transport Minister C P Joshi after Chief Minister Arjun Munda met him in New Delhi on Thursday. Speaking to AIR Ranchi correspondent today, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand D K Tiwari said that this decision of Surface Transport Ministry, along with the decision by the Union Coal Minister to reconsider the cancellation of Banhardi coal field in Jharkhand will help the state in a big way.
