Centre has approved revised Rajiv Gandhi Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGVVY) plan of 79.96 crore rupees for Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. This was stated by J&K Minister of State for Power Shabir Ahmed Khan. He said under this scheme all the left over un-electrified villages and hamlets would be electrified in the border district of Rajouri. He said that due to innovative initiatives and pro-people policies taken by the State government, the far flung and hilly areas of the State also marching fast towards progress and prosperity at all fronts.
