The Centre has approved procurement of 1(point)5 lakh tonne Moong and 30 thousand tonne Urad in Rajasthan during this Kharif season. <br/><br/>In a series of tweets, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh said, the Centre will also procure 1.5 lakh tonne Groundnut and Soybean each in Rajasthan. The proposals were placed by Rajasthan government before the Ministry of Agriculture for approval. <br/><br/>Mr Singh said, the Centre has also given approval for the procurement of one lakh tonne Soybean from the farmers in Maharashtra during the current Kharif season.
