Centre approves over Rs. 350 cr as interim relief for GAJA affected people in Tamil Nadu

<span style="color: #222222;">The Centre has approved around 354 crore rupees as an interim relief for Tamil Nadu to provide relief measures to the affected people due to cyclonic storm GAJA last month. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This is the second installment of Central Share of State Disaster Response Fund  for the current fiscal. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Home Ministry, in a statement, said, further assistance will be provided from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) based on the final report of Inter-Ministerial Central Team. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The team had visited cyclonic storm affected areas in the State from 23rd to 27th November. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, in the instant case, the Centre  has provided full support to the State Government by mobilizing timely logistics resources to supplement the efforts of the State  to deal with the situation effectively. </span>
