The Centre today approved an assistance of 791 crore rupees to drought affected Telangana from the National Disaster Relief Fund. A high level committee chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh approved it after examining the proposal based on the report of the Central Team, which visited the state. <br/><br/>Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi and senior officers of the Ministries of Home, Finance and Agriculture attended the meeting.
