The Head of the three-member panel appointed by the Centre on Jammu and Kashmir Dilip Padgaonkar says that the interlocutors have given a permanent solution to the vexed problem after widest possible consultations across the state.
Talking to reporters after submitting the report of the panel to the Home Minister P. Chidambaram in New Delhi on Wednesday, he said that the panel has also suggested solutions for economic development and addressing the socio-cultural concerns of the three regions of the state.
Mr. Padagonkar said, they met 600 delegations in 22 districts of the state besides holding three round table conferences with women activists and scholars to seek their opinion on the issue. Centre may convene an all party meeting to discuss the report.
