<span style="color: #222222;">The Centre has allowed a transition time of six months for ensuring supply chain continuity and access of eight regulated medical devices while implementing their regulatory order under Medical Devices Rules MDR, 2017. These medical devices include CT scan equipment, MRI equipment, PET Equipment, Dialysis Machine, X-Ray Machine and Bone marrow cell separator.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Health Ministry in a statement said that in case an existing importer or manufacturer has submitted an application to Central Licencing Authority or State Licencing Authority, for grant of import or manufacturing licence in respect of such devices under the provisions of MDR, 2017, the application shall be deemed valid.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said,&nbsp; the importer and manufacturer can continue to import or manufacture these devices up to 6 months from issue of this order or till the time, the Central Licencing Authority or State Licencing Authority takes a decision on the&nbsp; application. The Ministry said, order in this regard has been issued by the Drugs Controller General of India today.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
