<span style="color: #222222;">Centre has allocated over 1 thousand 832 crore rupees for implementation of Jal jeevan mission in Bihar during 2020-21. Jal Shakti Ministry said, Bihar is planning to provide tap connections to remaining one crore 50 lakh households in 2020-21. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, state government has set an ambitious goal of providing all the remaining households with tap connection. A proper plan is in place for 100 per cent coverage of all 38 districts. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Bihar Government is also giving special attention to providing 100 per cent of Functional Household Tap Connections in aspirational districts and SC/ST villages. The Ministry said,  because of abundance of ground water and surface water in Bihar, the State is making all efforts in this regard.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Jal Jeevan Mission has been launched in partnership with States, to enable every household in villages to have a Functional Household Tap Connections within the premises by 2024.</span><br />''  <br />
