<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Centre has allocated about Rs 7,000 crore in the rail budget 2021-22 for Odisha. In a press briefing in New Delhi today, the Union Minister said that the huge budgetary allocation to the tune of Rs 6995.58 crore aims at early completion of the railway projects in the state besides upscaling rail connectivity and passenger amenities.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, detailing out the project-wise fund allocation for railway in Odisha, the Union Minister said that a provision of more than Rs 1,553 crore has been made in the budget for new lines in the state. Revealing that the budget has also announced the setting up of an electric engine factory in Kalahandi in Odisha, Mr. Pradhan said, that there has been a sharp increase of about 392 per cent in the budgetary allocation for railways in Odisha for the period 2014- 2019 as against 2009-2014. As many as 39 railway projects for a total length of 4877 kilometres are already being undertaken in the state at a cost of about Rs 62,000 crore, added the Union Minister.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;
