Centre accords a sanction to Strengthen Goa’s internal security

With a view to strengthen the internal security of the state, the Union Government has accorded a sanction to Goa Government's proposal to set up a centralised control room and procure sixty PCR vans. The entire package will cost Rs five crores.<br/><br/>Briefing reportersin Panaji today the Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat said he had requested the Union Home Ministry to render financial assistance to the tune of five crore rupees to set up a centralised control room in the state and procure 60 pcr vans for strengthening the internal security of the state at the meeting of Chief Ministers on Internal Security held recently in Delhi.<br/>
