Centre has urged the States to do away with interviews for junior level posts. The Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said he has written once again to impress upon them to act fast in abolishing interviews for junior level posts in the State government. <br/><br/>Mr Singh told reporters in New Delhi that most of the states are yet to respond to Centre's call regarding the interview process. He said, the Central government has abolished interview for group C and D posts in Ministries, Departments and Centre Public sector undertakings. He said, doing away with the interviews will not only make the recruitment process more transparent but also lead to huge savings on selection process.
