Central Vigilance Commission will observe vigilance awareness week from 30th October to 4th November this year. The theme of the event is –My Vision Corruption Free India. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters,Central Vigilance Commissioner, K V Choudhary said in New Delhi that Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will be the chief guest at the inaugural function. He said, the CVC has designed an online pledge system on which any citizen can take pledge against corruption. <br/><br/>Mr Choudhary also said if any citizen comes across any sort of corruption he or she can report the same without unveiling his or her identity. <br/>He said, seminars, discussions and other outreach events have been planned involving private sector, professional associations and trade unions for wider participation of all sections of civil society. <br/><br/>Mr. Choudhary said, Awareness Gram Sabhas are also being organised for dissemination of vigilance awareness in gram panachayats to sensitize citizens about the ill-effects of corruption.
