High level teams constituted by the central government for taking review of COVID situation in Maharashtra visited several districts in the state today.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The teams are here to assist the state health department and local authorities in COVID-19 surveillance, control and containment measures.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''These teams are visiting 30 districts of Maharashtra.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, against the backdrop of increasing number of coronavirus-affected patients in Maharashtra, health teams from the centre today visited various districts in the state to take stock of the situation and also held discussions with the district authorities.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''A central team visited BKC COVID-19 vaccination centre in Mumbai to assess the current situation in the city.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Separate teams also visited Sangli, Solapur, Dhule, Nanded, Beed, Buldhana and Yavatmal districts.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The teams visited district hospitals, vaccination centres, Covid care centres in these districts.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The teams inspected facilities available at the vaccination centres such as registration rooms, vaccination waiting rooms and observation rooms, besides they also inspected beds in Covid hospitals, oxygen beds, ICU units, ventilators etc.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''They also reviewed the supply of oxygen, supply of medicines, etc. and suggested effective measures for control of covid infection.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the Centre today provided 17 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses to Maharashtra as several districts Mumbai, Sangli, Satara and Buldhana are facing a tremendous shortage of vaccines.</span><br />
