<span style="color: #222222;">In Telangana,  the Central team has visited several medical and health facilities and containment zones in Hyderabad to take stock of the COVID situation. The Team led by Joint Secretary Health and Family Welfare, Lav Agarwal visited the recently set up Telangana Institute of Medical Science (TIMS) at Gachibowli, Gandhi Government Hospital, and a few containment areas in Hyderabad. The team also called on Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and met with other senior officials.<br />'' <br />'' The state Government in coordination with the  Health and Family Welfare Ministry will formulate an action plan to fight COVID-19 for the next two months keeping in view the likely increase in the positive cases. A statement informed that the team emphasised on the need for focussing on containment measures, increasing testing capacity, tracing and clinical management in the state. The state health department made a detailed presentation on the steps taken on COVID-19 management in the State.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Telangana reported 975 fresh Coronavirus Positive cases yesterday.  With this, the  total  number  of  Coronavirus positive cases in the state has gone up to 15 thousand 394. With the discharge of another 410 patients, the total number of persons recovered from the COVID-19 has also increased to 5, 582 in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Out of the fresh cases reported yesterday, 861 cases were  reported from the Hyderabad municipality area while Rangareddy district accounted for 40 fresh cases and Medchal Malkajgiri district accounted for 20. Sangareddy district reported 14 new cases and Karimnagar district reported another 10 COVID-19 cases. The remaining cases were reported from 11 other districts. Meanwhile, 6 patients  died  taking the total number of deaths relating to COVID 19 and other co-morbidities in the state to 253.</span><br />
