A 10 member Central team today paid a visit to drought affected Nasik district in Maharashtra. Under the leadership of Union Horticulture commissioner Dr S.K. Malhotra the team reviewed the drought situation in Nasik area. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent informed that the team went to remote places of the district and met farmers from Yevla, Sinnar and Nandagoan Taluka today. It inspected the dry wells, condition of crops in many farm lands across several villages and discussed the problems faced by the farmers.
