A Central team visited the Cyclone Ockhi hit regions of Thiruvanthapuram district in Kerala today. The team led by Additional Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs , Vipin Mallik assessed the damages in the worst hit Vizhinjam and Poonthura regions of the district.<br/><br/>They made detailed discussion with the Chief Minister, State administration, district officials and the affected people. The central team will visit Kochi tomorrow and is scheduled to visit Alapuzha district in the coming days. <br/><br/>After the 4 day visit, the team will be submitting the detailed report on the damages caused by Cyclone Ockhi that devastated parts of Kerala, TamilNadu and Lakshadweep earlier this month.
