Central team to visit Karnataka to review losses caused by rain & flood: State Revenue Minister

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka informed media persons today that a central team headed by Union Home Ministry Joint Secretary K V Prathap will visit the state on Monday to review the losses caused by rain and flood in the state. The inter-ministerial team will meet the Chief Minister on arrival and proceed to the flood and rain affected districts next day. The team is scheduled to visit Kodagu, Belagavi, Bagalkote and Vijayapura.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Revenue minister has further said that on 9th September, he will meet the Central team and submit a memorandum to immediately release 4800 crore rupees as relief from NDRF. He informed that the Central Government has already responded to the distress call given by the state by releasing 395 crore rupees. The Centre had also fulfilled the state's request to depute nine teams of NDRF to take up rescue and relief measures.</span><br />''
