Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that a team of the Central Government would soon visit the flood affected districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Fatehabad and Sirsa to assess the loss suffered due to floods. <br/><br/>Chief Minister after reviewing the situation in the flood affected areas of Sirsa district said that the State Government has sought a financial assistance of more than 1,000 crore rupees from the Central Government to compensate for the damage suffered due to floods. <br/><br/>Mr Hooda said that Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh have assured assistance to help the flood affected people in the State. Earlier, the Chief Minister spoke to Dr Singh and urged for the early release of financial aid.
