The visiting three-member team of the Union Home Ministry met District Administrations of nine trouble-torn Districts of West Bengal at a high level meeting in Kolkata today. The District Magistrates and Superintendent of Police of these nine Districts were present at the meeting. Our Kolkata Correspondent Arijit Chakraborty reports that the three-member fact-finding team led by the Additional Secretary of the Union Home Ministry, Mr. D. R. S. Chowdhry took report on political violence and other related issues from District Administrations. Later, the State Home Secretary, Mr. Ardhendu Sen told newsmen that the meeting discussed on central help for upgrading of police infrastructure at Maoists infested areas besides deployment of more central forces to tackle law and order and political violence. Meanwhile, a delegation of the Trinamool Congress led by the Union Minister, Mr. Mukul Roy met the Central team. Mr. Roy urged the Central team to take steps to impose article 356 of the constitution to bring peace in the State. The delegation requested them to visit violence hit areas. A group of intellectuals led by Renowned Painter, Subhaprasanna also met the Central team this morning. After two days visit in the State the Central team left Kolkata this afternoon.<br/>
